If you are planning to go from a 12v to 18 24v. You should know first off... you need to change the rear motors, the control board and add a voltage adjuster. Otherwise your going to strip out the plastic gears in the rear... at least. These jeeps go over practically anything! I was amazed at how 'off road' they actually handled. Well worth the money!
Great grand daughter's gift.
Everything is good with it except when it comes to the batterie,it will die the same day not just that but it's supposed to go front AND backwards but I only goes forward but everything else seems to be good the style is super cute..
We purchased this as a birthday gift. It is a lot smaller in person than it appears on the page. It was given to a boy turning 5 but looks more like it's for a 3 year old. The truck took my husband over 2 hours to put together and he said it was very difficult and directions unclear. The worst part of the product is the FLIMSY plastic! I do not think the plastic will last very long, as kids can be rough on their toys. We have some old Power Wheels ride on toys from yard sales and those have taken every type of challenge (like the kids ramping the toys into each other) but this tractor will most likely crack it's hood if you do that. The trailer is also very lightweight so other children should NOT sit in it. IT cannot hold heavy weight at all. Maybe just sticks and small rocks can go in the back.
My two year old is obsessed. His older brothers have ride on toys, and he was tired of missing out. Assembly was on par for similar vehicles. It's light enough I can pick it up with one hand and drag it back into our garage. On par money wise to what we paid for our other two ride on vehicles. Easy to turn/ go fast. The steering wheel works fine my 5 and 7 year olds like having their turn as well. It's nice to also be able to control it without having to worry about the thing crashing into the bushes if you have boys then you know. I would have bought this for the older two without hesitation.
